AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: SEAT MOUNTED AISLE EMERGENCY LIGHT DOES NOT ILLUMINATE AT SEAT 8C. MAINTENANCE FOUND BROKEN WIRE IN SEAT HARNESS CABLE AND REPAIRED IT PER ESPM 20-43-11. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED.
