## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO DFW DUE TO THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTING AN AFT CARGO DOOR OPEN INDICATION ON ECAM DISPLAYED AFTER TAKEOFF DURING CLIMBOUT AT ABOUT 1000 FEET. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY AT DFW AND TAXIED TO THE GATE UNDER ITS OWN POWER. MAINTENANCE ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK PER AMM 32-31-00-810-866-A WITH NO FAULTS NOTED. NOTE: MAINTENANCE DID NOT IDENTIFY A SPECIFIC PART THAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED THIS ISSUE.
