AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: FLIGHT DECK DOOR WILL NOT OPEN INFLIGHT, UPPER LATCH APPEARS TO BE MOVING, BUT THE DOOR WILL NOT OPEN FROM THE FLIGHT DECK SIDE. MAINTENANCE ADJUSTED THE FLIGHT DECK DOOR LOCKING MECHANISM ROD AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK PER AMM 52-51-12.
