## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: FLIGHT DECK DOOR COMPLETELY BROKEN; LOCK DOES NOT OPEN WITH ANY METHOD INFLIGHT.  ATTEMPTED MULTIPLE TIMES. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE CENTER LATCH MECHANISM DOES NOT OPERATE THE UPPER AND LOWER LATCHES ON THE FLIGHT DECK DOOR. MAINTENANCE RELACED THE FLIGHT DECK DOOR CENTER LATCH MECHANISM AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK PER AMM 52-51-21.
