## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: COCKPIT DOOR LATCH PREVENTS THE DOOR FROM CLOSING NORMALLY. THE HANDLE MUST BE TURNED TO CLOSE AND LOCK DOOR OR THE DOOR MUST BE SLAMMED SHUT VERY HARD. MAINTENANCE REPLACED ELECTRICAL RELEASE STRIKE IAW 52-51-12-400-001-A.
