## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED ON APPROACH INTO RSW DUE TO THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTING A FLIGHT CONTROL FLAPS LOCKED MESSAGE. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY AT RSW AND TAXIED TO THE GATE UNDER ITS OWN POWER. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE RIGHT-WING TRAILING EDGE FLAP INTERCONNECTING STRUT PROXIMITY SENSOR 40CV AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WITH NO ISSUES / FAULTS NOTED.
