## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO JFK DUE TO THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTING THAT THE NOSE GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT AND UPLOCK ON DEPARTURE. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY AT JFK AND TAXIED TO THE GATE UNDER ITS OWN POWER. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE NOSE LANDING GEAR RETRACT LOCK OUT PIN INSTALLED AND REMOVED THE PIN PER AMM 32-00-00,
