## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: FKIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT WHILE IN FLIGHT THE FLIGHT DECK DOOR LATCHES DO NOT DISENGAGE WHEN KNOB TURNED RIGHT, AND WHEN KNOB IS TURNED LEFT THEY JUST BARELY RELEASE AND RUB AGAINST DOOR FRAME. ON THE GROUND ITWORKS A LITTLE BETTER BUT STILL CATCHES. MAINTENANCE CLEANED AND LUBRICATED THE FLIGHT DECK DOOR LATCHES. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED.
