## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO MIA DUE TO THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTING A #1 ENGINE FADEC SYSTEM FAULT DURING FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY AT MIA WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE #1 ENGINE ELECTRONIC ENGINE CONTROL (EEC) PER AMM 73-21-55 AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE FADEC SYSTEM WITH NO FAULTS NOTED.
