## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: STAB OUT OF TRIM CAUTION LIGHT IN FLIGHT. MANUAL TRIM UP WAS AVAILABLE MANUAL DOWN TRIM WAS LIMITED TO APPROXIMATELY ONE TURN. DECESION MADE TO RETURN TO DFW EMERGENCY DECLARED AND LANDED OVERWEIGHT WITHOUT INCIDENT.  MAINTENANCE REPLACED STABILIZER BALL NUT AND JACKSCREW GEAR BOX IAW W/C 99L31027001.
