AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: DOOR LEFT AFT EMERGENCY EXIT ECAM MESSAGE DISPLAYED IN FLIGHT AT FL 360. PRESSURIZATION NORMAL.  FLIGHT ATTENDANTS REPORT 3L DOOR IS VISUALLY CLOSED AND LOCKED.   MAINTENANCE ADJUSTED DETECTOR PROXIMITY SWITCH PER AMM 52-71-00 AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WITH NO FAULTS NOTED.
