## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED INTO DFW DUE TO THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTING FLAPS LOCKED WHILE CONFIGURING FOR LANDING. FLAPS GREATER THAN 1 LESS THAN 2. FLIGHT CREW RAN PROCEDURES AND LANDED SAFELY AT DFW WHERE THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE GATE UNDER ITS OWN POWER. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE JAMNUT ON THE RIGHT-HAND FLAP INTERCONNECTING STRUT LOOSE AND BACKED OFF. MAINTENANCE TIGHTENED JAMNUT AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY ADJUSTMENT AND OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE RIGHT-HAND FLAP INTERCONNECTING STRUT PER AMM 27-51-44.
