## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE AIRCRAFT DIVERTED TO MSP DUE TO THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTING SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER SEAT 15F AND IT WAS OBSERVED THAT THE SEAT WAS HOT. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY AT MSP AND TAXIED TO THE GATE UNDER ITS OWN POWER. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE IN-SEAT POWER SUPPLY AT SEAT ROW 15 HAD FLUID SPILLED ON IT WHICH CREATED THE SMOKE AND BURNING SMELL. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE IN-SEAT POWER SUPPLY PER AMM 44-21-00 AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPS CHECK.
