AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: DOOR 4L SLIDE LEVER APPEARS TO BE LOOSE. INTERMITTENT ARMED/NOT ARMED INDICATIONS SEVERAL TIMES EN ROUTE. MAINTENANCE ADJUSTED THE ESCAPE SLIDE RELEASE MECHANISM PER AMM 52-13-22 AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WITH NO FAULTS NOTED.
