## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE AIRCRAFT DIVERTED TO CLT DUE TO THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTING THAT THE WEATHER RADAR DID NOT SHOW RETURNS ON DEPARTURE AND THEN STOPPED DISPLAYING STATUS (WEATHER TILT ETC) ON CLIMB TO ALTITUDE. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY AT CLT WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE WEATHER TRANSCIEVER PER AMM 34-41-33 AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK.
