## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: FLIGHT ATTENDANTS REPORT A VERY STRONG DIRTY SOCK ODOR IN REAR OF AIRCRAFT AFTER TAKEOFF. MAINTENANCE DETERMINED SATURATED CARPET BY THE AFT LAVS IS SOURCE OF FOUL ODOR. ACCOMPLISHED JC 08L00021001. FOUND CARPETS IN REAR CABIN WITH URINE SMELL. REMOVED ALL AFFECTED CARPETS. CLEANED AREA AND FLOORBOARDS AS REQ. INSTALLED ALL NEW CARPETS AS REQ. IAW AMM 25-27-15 FROM ROW 29 TO REAR OF AIRCRAFT.
