## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: LAVATORY "D" HAS AN OVER HEATING SMELL. IT HAS MORE OF AN ODOR AFTER EACH FLUSH. LAVATORY "D" IS NOW BLOCKED OFF. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE TOILET ASSEMBLY WAS THE SOURCE OF THE OVERHEATING SMELL DUE TO IT LEAKING AROUND WIRING AND REPLACED IT PER AMM 38-31-41. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITH NO ISSUES NOTED.
