## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: JUST BEFORE TOP OF DESCENT I CHANGED THE NUMBERS ON FLIGHT NUMBER SELECTOR ON CAPTAIN'S CONTROL WHEEL AND THE SELECTOR STARTED TO RELEASE SMOKE. AFTER A FEW SECONDS THE SMOKE DISSIPATED AND DID NOT COME BACK. MAINTENANCE REPLACED CAPT'S CONTROL COLUMN MEMORY DEVICE AS PER AMM 33-11-00-400-801.
