AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: 4R EMERGENCY SLIDE LEVER GRINDING WHEN ARMING. MAINTENANCE FOUND DEBRIS ON GRIT BAR AND GRIT BAR PLATE AT 4R. CLEANED AND LUBRICATED THROUGHLY THE GRIT BAR AND PLATE. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED PER AMM 52-13-22. EMERGENCY SLIDE LEVER MOVES FREELY AND NO GRINDING NOISE.
