## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: FLIGHT DECK DOOR WILL NOT OPEN NORMALLY. FLIGHT CREW HAD TO PLACE FLIGHT DECK DOOR SWITCH TO THE UNLOCK POSITION TO OPEN. MAINTENACE FOUND THE BOTTOM LATCH WOULD NOT RELEASE OR CLEAR THE STRIKER DUE TO THE LOWER ROD TOP TURN BUCKLE WAS NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY CAUSING THE ROD TO CONTACT THE DOOR, MAINTENANCE CORRECTLY INTALLED THE TURN BUCKLE, RIGGED THE DOOR LATCH PER AMM 52-51-21 AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WITH NO ISSUES NOTED.
