## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED INTO DFW TO THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT REPORTING A BURNT AREA ON THE LEFT-WING INNER SPOILER PANEL. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY AT DFW WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE LEFT WING #1 SPOILER AND FOUND NO BURN DAMAGE, ONLY PAINT MISSING ON THE TOP SURFACE WAS NOTED. MAINTENANCE APPLIED SPEED TAPE PER AFMM 20-11-33 AND PLACED IT ON MONITOR TO REPAIR THE PAINT FINISH. (OPEN)
