AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: FORWARD GALLEY OVEN 2 SMELLS LIKE BURNING PLASTIC.   MAINTENANCE ACCOMPLISHED AN OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE OVEN 3 TIMES FOR 30 MINUTES EACH TIME WITH NO ISSUES OR ODORS NOTED.
