## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED INTO DFW DUE TO THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTING THAT A PASSENGERS LAPTOP STARTED TO OVERHEAT AND SMOKE AT SEAT ROW 17 - THE CABIN CREW UTILIZED A FIRE CONTAINMENT BAG TO CONTAIN THE LAPTOP AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY AT DFW WHERE IT TAXIED TO THE GATE UNDER ITS OWN POWER. MAINTENANCE REMOVED THE USED FIRE CONTAINMENT BAG FROM THE AIRCRAFT AND INSTALLED A NEW BAG IN THE G2 CLOSET
