AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED:  WINDOW SHADE WILL NOT OPEN 16F.  CONFIRMED WINDOW SHADE ON SEAT 16F IS DAMAGE REMOVED WINDOW SHADE.   MAINTENANCE REPLACED  EMERGENCY WINDOW SHADE IAW AMM 25-21-12.
