AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED DUE TO THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTING THAT THE FLAPS LOCKED WHILE ON APPROACH WITH THE FLAPS AT POSITION 2 WHEN IT HAPPENED - THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT THEY WERE AT 190 SO THEY DID NOT OVERSPEED AND LANDED SAFELY AT MIA WITH THE FLAPS AT POSITION 3 WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT - MAINTENANCE FOUND THE INTERCONNECTING STRUTS ON THE LEFT WING *AALA202609304476* AND THE RIGHT WING *AALA202609300456* OUT OF ADJUSTMENT AND ADJUSTED THEM PER AMM 27-51-44
