## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: FWD ENTRY DOOR ANNUNCIATION ILLUMINATED ABOVE 80 KNOTS AND WOULD NOT EXTINGUISH IN FLIGHT. DECESION MADE TO RETURN TO STL, EMERGENCY DECLARED AND AIRCRAFT LANDED OVERWEIGHT WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTNANCE REPLACED L1 DOOR SWITCH TARGET BRACKET IAW CMM52-16-12.L1 SWITCH TARGET BRACKET SHIMS USED ALTERNATE HARDWARE IAW EA379940.
