CAPTAIN'S WINDOW (EMERG EXIT) LATCH PIN WAS FOUND BROKEN DURING PREFLIGHT.  REPLACED LOWER FORWARD LINKAGE ROD IAW DC8 MM 56-10-3, OPS CHECKED GOOD.
