MAINTENANCE FOUND #7 EMERGENCY DESCENT DEVICE FELL OUT OF IT'S CASE AND UNWINDED THE CABLE. (SUPERNUMERARY).  REMOVED AND INSTALLED #7 EMERGENCY DESCENT DEVICE IAW AMM 25-61-03.  AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
