DURING TAXI OUT  LT AFT FUEL PUMP EICAS,  QRH COMPLETE.  ACFT RETURNED TO THE GATE (BTB) AND MTX GROUNDED A/C. MTX DEFERRED LEFT AFT FUEL PUMP IAW MEL ABX-28-22-1 . AND RETURNED A/C TO SERVICE .
