DURING TAXI OUT, AFTER BLOCK OUT THE RAT UNLOCKED MESAGE ON EICAS.  A/C RETURNED TO BLOCKS (BTB).  DEPLOYED AND RESTOWED RAT IAW B767 AMM 29-21-00.  MESSAGE CLEARED.  NO FAULTS PRESENT AT THIS TIME.  RAT GUARD RESECURED.  A/C RETURNED TO SERVICE.
