DURING CREW PREFLIGHT, MAIN CARGO FIRE LOOP WARNING 1 & 2 SEVERAL TIME. FALSE INDICATION. MAINTENANCE VERIFIED NO FIRE IN MAIN CARGO. PERFORMED OPS TEST IAW AMM 26-14-00. OPS CHECK GOOD. A/C REMAINS NO ETOPS.  AIRCRAFT DOWNGRADED TO NO ETOPS DUE TO NON-QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. MAIN CARGO FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM. PERFORMED SYSTEM TEST PER 767 AMM 26-14-00. TEST GOOD NO FAULTS NOTED. AIRCRAFT RELEASED 180 ETOPS STATUS ANNUNCIATOR UPDATED. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
