DURING TAXI OUT WHILE STARTING NR 1 ENGINE  NO ROTATION ON NR 1, START VALVE STAYED OPEN , A/C RETURNED TO THE GATE (BTB)  AND MTX GROUNDED A/C AND DEFERRED NR 1 START VALVE IAW MEL ABX-80-00-2-1 .A/C REMAINS ETOPS 180 .  AND RETURNED ACFT TO SERVICE .
