AFTER TAKEOFF, APU GEN OFF LIGHT AND EICAS MESSAGE. ATTEMPTED 1 RESET PER QRH. NO RESET. AIR TURN BACK COMPLETED.DUE TO DEFERRAL OF LH IDG . MTC REMOVED AND REPLACED APU GENERATOR IAW B767 AMM 24-21-01 OPS TEST GOOD. A/C REMAINS ETOPS 180. A/C RETURNED TO SERVICE.
