DURING APPROACH, CREW RECEIVED FIRE/OVHT STS EICAS MESSSAGE ON FINAL UNTIL ENGINE SHUTDOWN. MTC PERFORMED GVI OF LH ENG DUCTING -IAW B767 AMM 71-00-00 AND B767 FIM 26-11 FT 804. NO DAMAGE NOTED RAN LH ENG FOR 5 MIN WITH NO ABNORMAL INDICATIONS IAW B767 AMM 71-00-00. PERR MXC, SWAPPED CARDS M683 AND M681 IAW B767 AMM 26-10-01. OPS CHECK GOOD. AC REMAINS NO ETOPS. A/C RETURNED TO SERVICE.
