## Discrepancy

CREW CALLED FLIGHT CONTROL AND REPORTED AN ABORTED TAKEOFF (ATO) DUE TO THE THRUST MANAGEMENT NOT ENGAGING. FLIGHT CONTROL, THE CAPTAIN AND A MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER CONFERENCED TOGETHER AND DETERMINED THAT THE CREW NEEDED TO COMPLETE A DEFFERAL FOR THE THRUST MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. SYSTEM WAS DEFERRED PER MEL 22-30-1 AND THE A/C WAS DOWNGRADED TO CAT I. A/C RETURNED TO SERVICE.
