LE SLAT ASSYM APPEARED ON ARRIVAL. CREW DECLARED EMERGENCY (EDC) & LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. PERFORMED PSEU BITE TEST IAW FIM 32-09 FAULT TREE 803, PSEU FAULTED TARGETS FOR 278 (LE SLAT LEFT 3 O/B) & 301 (LE SLAT RIGHT I/B) CHECKED SWITCH/TARGET CLEARANCE IAW AMM 27-88-01,  WITHIN LIMITS. FOUND TARGETS HAD EXCESSIVE DIRT & GREASE. CLEANED TARGETS IAW FIM 32-09 FAULT TREE 803. EXAMINED SWITCHES & TARGETS FOR DAMAGE, NONE FOUND. PERFORMED SLAT SENSOR SWITCH TEST IAW AMM 27-88-01, NO FAULTS. FLAPS & SLATS OPS NORMAL THROUGH SEVERAL CYCLES WITH NO MESSAGES OR NEW FAULTS ON PSEU AFTER RESET. R & R FSEU WITH A -63 IAW AMM 27-51-01. PERFORMED BITE & OPS CHK. BOTH CHKD GOOD. PERFORMED T/S IAW FIM 27-81 FT 809, BLOCK 50, R & R PROX SENSOR S278 IAW AMM 27-88-01. OPS CHECK GOOD. A/C RETURNED TO SERVICE.
