## Discrepancy

NOTICED ENGINE WHINE WHICH INCREASED IN LOUDNESS AND PITCH WITH INCREASE OR DECREASE IN POWER. REPORTED TO MAINTENANCE.  DEMONSTRATED PROBLEM TO MX & CONFIRMED PROBLEM. MECHANIC NOTICED STARTER GENERATOR MAKING NOISE, CHANGED STARTER GEN. DID NOT CORRECT PROBLEM. REMOVED AND REPLACED ENGINE.
