FLT 3687 - MSY-LIT - 20 MINUTES INTO FLIGHT THE LEFT OIL TEMP INDICATOR STARTED FLUCTUATING BETWEEN 120 AND 140 DEGREES. A/C RTF IN MSY. THE LEFT ENGINE WAS SHUTDOWN IN FLIGHT.
