IN CRUISE, LEFT CDU WENT BLANK,  AFTER APROX 30 SECONDS CDU RECOVERED TO NORMAL.  NO FURTHER PROBLEMS.  ACCOMPLISHED FMC, CDU REPAIR CONFIRMATION FIM TASK 34-61-00-810-804, NORMAL DISPLAY RESTORED.
