APU DETECTOR INOPERATIVE LIGHT ILLUMINATED.  ACFT GROUNDED.    PERFORMED ENG/APU FIRE DETECTION CONTROL MODULE BITE.  APU TAILPIPE DETECTOR FAULT MX MESSAGE NOTED. CHECKED DETECTOR LOOP RESISTANCE, FOUND OPEN. REPLACED APU TAILPIPE OVERHEAT DETECTOR.   TESTED GOOD IAW AMM 26-15-01.
