DURING ATTEMPTED START OF NR 2 ENGINE,  NEGATIVE ROTATION.  ACFT GROUNDED.  REPLACED NR 2 ENGINE START VALVE IAW AMM 80-11-03.  START VALVE OPS CHECKS GOOD.
