NR 1 ENGINE START VALVE FAILED TO OPEN DURING ENGINE START.  GROUNDED-YES.  NR 1 ENGINE START VALVE FROZEN.  THAWED VALVE AND ENGINE NR 1 START, OPERATIONS NORMAL.
