FWD CARGO PIT LH TRANSITION HAS AREAS OF CORROSION BEGINNING AT STA 500 AND RUNNING AFT TO STA 500I (DOT 005). GROUNDED - YES. REMOVED AND REPLACED NEW TRANSITION PANEL ON FWD CARGO PIT LH SIDE FROM STA 400 TO STA 500I IAW B737-800 SRM 51-40-02-0G-0 W=1" O= .040" R= 033" L= 2" D= .007".
