## Discrepancy

DURING GROUND INSPECTION IN IAH, THE LAVATORY SMOKE DETECTION SYSTEM WOULD NOT TEST.  MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE LAVATORY SMOKE DETECTOR BATTERY.  OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD.  AIRCRAFT OK FOR SERVICE.  (M)
