THE CREW REPORTED STRONG ELECTRICAL BURNING ODOR WITH BOTH PACKS RUNNING. MAINTENANCE FOUND BURNED LIGHT SOCKET AT ROW 5A. THE ACFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE IAW MEL.  SUPPLEMENT TO FOLLOW.
