THE LEFT EMERGENCY EXIT LOWER EXIT IDENTIFIER WAS INOPERATIVE.  R & R THE NR 4 INVERTER.  OPS CHECKED GOOD.  ACFT RELEASED AND RETURNED TO SERVICE.
