DURING MAINTENANCE INSPECTION, THE NR 3 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY WAS DISCOVERED INOPERATIVE.  MAINTENANCE R & R THE NR 3 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY WITH OPS CHECK GOOD.  ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
