THE CREW REPORTED A STRONG SMOKE ODOR AT THE END OF TAKEOFF ROLL AND IN FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO DEPARTURE AND LANDED WITHOUT INDCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND FOUND THE NR 1 ACM FROZEN.
