THE CREW REPORTED A RUDDER OVERBOOST MESSAGE AFTER TAKEOFF. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE RUDDER POWER CONTROL UNIT. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
