(AUS) LH MAIN LANDING GEAR RETRACTION ROD FAULTY. ROD HAD BEENILLEGALLY REPAIRED IN AN ATTEMPT TO STRAIGHTEN THE ROD. RIVETSHAD BEEN REPLACED WITH BOLTS AND PENNY WASHERS. UNAPPROVEDREPAIR. PERSONNEL/MAINTENANCE ERROR.
